lyrics

I think that everything is wrong.
I try to think at least twice a day.
she says I'm strange, but I try anyway
even though I'm wasting my time.
my thoughts are formed by the machine
popculture magazine all the blinking lights
and the glitter hype it's her favorite time
when the hours fall like stars

I hate my radio
(it's all wrong)

It's all part of the facade erected by our dear old dads
who would steal the black and make it white so we can
rebel like pointless poltergeists and all while we feed
the machine our each and every little thing their bankrolls
grow fat aristocrats oh wait those are thoughts
that I'm not supposed to have

I hate my radio
(it's all wrong)

We could go on as though nothing is wrong
Are we enlightened or blinded by the sun? oh we're just fine
frozen in time somebody said the kids are alright
but they don't know it's almost gone
there goes the same sad song and I don't know the words
but i caught the tune I hope this ringing in my ears ends soon.

I hate my radio
(it's all wrong)

I think that everything is wrong.

The Public New Orleans, Louisiana

The Public was formed in New Orleans in 2003 by drummer Bryan Besse and guitarist Jack Champagne. They broke up in 2010 a year after losing Plattsmier to suicide. Bassist Ronan Bradley played for the last year of the group. ... more
