lyrics

This isn't the first time, I've started up a fire.
but this is the last time you'll catch me in it's light.
and now I know that you don't know
what we're here for.
and now I know, but you don't know
so what's the difference?

if we don't wake tomorrow
or if you can't take another day.
why wait for tomorrow?
there's nothing there anyway.

and you can stay at home tonight
but we'll be burning down the sky
and when the world goes up in fire
there'll be nothing left but you and I
and these explosions in the sky
they're explosions in my mind
these explosions in the sky
these explosions in the sky

and now your eyes are like fire and they won't stop
you cut me up again, just like iggy pop
and now I know that you don't know
what we're here for.
and now I know, but you don't know
so what's the difference?

if we don't wake tomorrow
or if you can't take another day.
why wait for tomorrow?
there's nothing there anyway.

and you can stay at home tonight
but we'll be burning down the sky
and when the world goes up in fire
there'll be nothing left but you and I
and these explosions in the sky
they're explosions in my mind
these explosions in the sky
these explosions in the sky

They broke up in 2010 a year after losing Plattsmier to suicide. Bassist Ronan Bradley played for the last year of the group. ... more
